Stories we are proud of…
FRESH HOPE
About the charity: The Marylebone Project supports women who are experiencing homelessness, and with over 90 years of experience, it is the longest-running service of its kind.
The story behind the film: We were commissioned by The Marylebone Project to tell the story of the women at the heart of the organisation. We are hugely grateful to all the participants who were so generous with their time, and we are immensely proud of the finished film.
Fresh Hope was shortlisted for the 2024 Charity Film Awards, in Leicester Square, London.
“Stories of Note tick all the boxes for me: creative, approachable, they focus on attention to detail, and their film work is beautiful.”
Miriam Kennedy, Centre Manager, The Marylebone Project
TONY AND TONY
About the charity: Time to Talk Befriending is dedicated to overcoming loneliness through relationship-centred befriending services.
The story behind the film: We produced a series of films with Time to Talk, each focusing on a different befriending match. This film captures Tony and Tony, who through the organisation have become close friends.
“Two funders contacted us having found us on the Charity Commission and then checked out the website. The videos were so moving that they contacted us to offer us money without us even having to apply!”
Emily Kenward, Founder & CEO, Time to Talk Befriending
PARKRUN PRACTICE INITIATIVE
About the charity: With a mission to create a healthier & happier planet, parkrun is the world's biggest physical activity movement.
The story behind the film: parkrun tasked us with creating a film to promote their parkrun practice initiative.
For us to tell the story, we travelled across England and Wales to hear from people who had been signposted to parkrun by their GP. Their warmth and openness made it a complete joy.
JUSTLIFE
About the charity: Justlife provide one-to-one healthcare, housing and wellbeing support for people living in temporary accommodation.
The story behind the film: To celebrate ten years of Justlife working in Brighton and Hove, the charity wanted to create a film that would distil their impact and message.
As well as being showcased as a part of Justlife’s 10th Anniversary Celebration, the film was used as a part of their Christmas Big Give appeal, which raised over £40k
“Stories of Note specialises in helping charities convey their message to the public in an accessible and impactful way. We couldn't be more chuffed with the end product!”
Francesca Anderson, Head of Income and Development, Justlife
Jordan’s Story
About the charity: Greenhouse Sports is a London based charity committed to using sport to help young people living in the inner city to realise their full potential.
The story behind the film: For this project we were tasked with sharing the stories of five Greenhouse Alumni.
We went with each subject back to where their story first began, and heard from them about how Greenhouse helped them when growing up, and how the ripples of their time at Greenhouse still help them in their lives today.
